Tool design area

Lumel Alucast supports the customer at an early stage
of the project with improving the product design
and their technological properties.
In tool designing process our engineers team uses
CAM Solidworks software (CAM- 3 AXIS, 5 AXIS, VCM). Additionally applied simulation of casting process in FLOW 3D allows to eliminate potential errors already at the beginning
of designing process.

Tool technology also includes the designing of:

• electrodes for EDM processes
• necessary equipment
• selection of tools in order to maximize the efficiency
  of machining and to achieve high quality.

At the customer’s request LUMEL Alucast is able to prepare
the product design strictly according to customer’s guidelines.

Additionally we can work on the moulds entrusted us by our customers. We adjust them to our machines and prepare them for serial production at Lumel Alucast.
