Conflict mineral policy

LUMEL ALUCAST attaches great importance to social responsibility and supports initiatives that can contribute to improve international trade. Therefore, our company is pursuing the Dodd-Frank Act of 2010 to meet the needs of our customers. Our goal is to ensure
that our products do not contain conflict minerals such as tin, tantalum, tungsten, gold, which are derived from areas of armed conflict.
Therefore, we are committed to:

  • Constant monitoring of suppliers in terms of quality of supply and origin of raw materials used in the delivered products;
  • Promote awareness of conflict minerals among our suppliers and within the organization;
  • Ensure our customers that we make every effort to ensure that our products do not contain conflict minerals from armed conflict areas.

From our suppliers we expect to respect the principles of social responsibility and secure sourcing and the same requirement from all parts involved in the supply chains. We believe that the implementation of measures according to the policy will contribute addressing
the global problem of funding armed groups and security forces through the extraction and sale of minerals in conflict-affected areas.
